Stone, Alexander Campbell, Walter Scott, and more – men whose influence was felt far and wide, appealing for people to reject the churches and creeds of men and turn back to the ancient gospel. These men certainly played a significant role in the growth of this movement, but it would not have been sustainable without the efforts of countless faithful preachers who have been all but forgotten.

This book features over seventy preachers who toiled and sacrificed for the cause of Christ in the Appalachian Mountain region. Their examples will motivate us to “imitate their faith” as we strive to turn people back to the ancient gospel today.
