About Gospel Armory:

How did Gospel Armory get started? – Gospel Armory was established in 2010 by Andy Sochor when he published his first book – The Root of the Problem: Why We Sin & How We Can Overcome (the original edition is no longer in print, but the second edition was released in 2021).

Why does Gospel Armory exist? – The mission of Gospel Armory is to produce materials that will educate, edify, and equip Christians to be better prepared to face the spiritual challenges that exist in this day and age. To do this, we publish works that respect God’s word as it has been revealed in the Bible and that provide teaching, insight, and encouragement that will be helpful both in one’s study of the Scriptures and the application of it in daily life. This includes publishing older materials from previous generations (particularly from those associated with the Restoration Movement) that are useful today – either for instruction or as a matter of historical perspective or both.

Does Gospel Armory have a physical store somewhere? – No, I (Andy Sochor) run Gospel Armory out of our home. There are no plans for opening a physical location that would be open to the public.

Ordering from Gospel Armory:

How do I place an order through the Gospel Armory store? – To order an item, click on the button that says “Add to Cart.” Once you have selected all of the items you wish to order, click on the button that says “View Cart” to review your order. After confirming that the items and quantities are correct, select your shipping preference and then click the “Proceed to checkout” button at the bottom of the page. On the next page, you will enter your billing address and shipping address (if different from the billing address). You also have the option to select the checkbox to create an account (this will save your address for future orders). Once you enter your information, click the “Proceed to PayPal” button to complete your order.

If I order online, do I have to pay with PayPal? – We use PayPal to process all of our online payments. However, you may choose to pay with a credit card without signing into a PayPal account (but you would still click the “Proceed to PayPal” button).

If I have a coupon code, how do I use it? – When you view your cart, under your items will be a text box labeled “Coupon Code.” Enter your coupon code there and click the “Apply Coupon” button. If the items in your cart meet the conditions of the coupon, the discount will then be applied.

If I don’t want to order online, can I order another way? – You can submit an order via email (orders@gospelarmory.com) or by mail (Gospel Armory, P.O. Box 23, Rockfield, KY 42274). Simply send your name, mailing address, and the item(s) you want to order, along with the quantity you need of each item. We will then send you your order with an invoice so you can pay by check (we may require payment upfront for larger orders).

What are my options for shipping? – We offer shipping via USPS Media Mail or UPS Ground. When you view your cart you will have the option to select one or the other.

How long will it take for my order to arrive? – If your item(s) are in stock, your order will ship out the next business day. The shipping time is usually 2-3 business days via UPS Ground or 2-8 business days via USPS Media Mail. If your item(s) are currently out of stock, you should still receive them in about 3 weeks (this includes bulk orders). If we expect it to be longer than that, we will contact you when we receive your order.

What should I do if my order is late or if it never arrived? – Send us an email (orders@gospelarmory.com) and let us know about your missing order so we can check on the status and either give you an estimate on delivery or issue a replacement.

Can I have an order shipped outside of the United States? – Due to shipping costs, we do not generally ship outside of the United States. However, we are sometimes able to make an exception to this. If you are in another country and want to inquire about the possibility of having an order shipped to you, please send us an email (orders@gospelarmory.com) with your mailing address and the books you would like to purchase. We will then find out the cost of shipping and let you know what the total will be. If you would then like to proceed with the order, we will send you an invoice via PayPal. Once this is paid, we will ship out your order.

Digital Materials from Gospel Armory:

After placing an order for digital materials, how do I download my product? – On the order confirmation page, you should see a link to download your product. You should also receive an email that contains the link as well. Click on the link to download the product and save it on your device.

What should I do if I have trouble downloading the material I purchased? – If the download link is either missing or not working, send us an email (orders@gospelarmory.com) and let us know. After confirming the purchase, we will send you the purchased product via email.

What is the difference between a single-user license and a congregational-use license? – The single-user license permits you to save the file on any/all devices you own and use the product for personal use. The congregational-use license permits you to share the file with others in your congregation, Bible class, study group, etc.

Can I share the digital materials with others? – If you purchase a product with a congregational-use license, you may share the material with others in your congregation, Bible class, study group, etc. The single-user license is for personal use and is not intended for sharing beyond that. If you have a question about whether the intended use is permitted, feel free to email us (orders@gospelarmory.com) and ask.

Discounts:

Does Gospel Armory offer a bulk discount? – Yes, we offer a 25% discount off of the regular retail price when you order 10 or more copies of one of our books.

How do I place a bulk order? – Send us your name, email address, mailing address, title of the book(s) you want to order, and the quantity (minimum of 10). You can send this to us via email (orders@gospelarmory.com) or by mail (Gospel Armory, P.O. Box 23, Rockfield, KY 42274).

Does Gospel Armory offer a wholesale discount to retailers? – Yes, retailers can receive a wholesale discount (less than 10 books are 30% off the regular retail price plus shipping, 10 or more books are 40% off the regular retail price with free shipping).

How do I place a wholesale order? – Send us your name, the name of your retail store, email address, mailing address, title of the book(s) you want to order, and the quantity. You can send this to us via email (orders@gospelarmory.com) or by mail (Gospel Armory, P.O. Box 23, Rockfield, KY 42274).

Do all the books published by Gospel Armory qualify for a bulk or wholesale discount? – Most books qualify for these discounts, but not all of them. Spanish materials written by Wayne Partain and Bill H. Reeves, due to special arrangements that have been made for production and distribution of those materials, are only offered at the regular price (no bulk or wholesale discount). Any books that are advertised as being available exclusively through Gospel Armory are not eligible for wholesale pricing (bulk discounts may be available for some of these titles, but at a different rate – contact us at orders@gospelarmory.com for information about the specific title in which you are interested). Also, books sold as a set are already discounted and do not qualify for additional bulk or wholesale discounts.

Is there a way to get free shipping on an order? – Yes, we offer free shipping on orders over $50. When you view your cart, select the “free shipping” option before your proceed to checkout.

Do the products ever go on sale? – Yes, we periodically run sales on various products. Be sure to join our mailing list to find out when these sales are happening.

Getting Published:

What kinds of books/materials will Gospel Armory publish? – First and foremost, we intend to produce materials that respect God’s word as it has been revealed in the Scriptures in order to educate, encourage, and equip Christians in serving the Lord. We will consider books on any Bible-related topic, religious history, Bible class material, and other similar works – even fiction.

Who will Gospel Armory work with to publish their material? – Gospel Armory is not affiliated with any church or religious group. However, the owner of Gospel Armory (Andy Sochor) is a member of the church of Christ and wants to help publish the materials of other like-minded brethren within the churches of Christ. Therefore, as a general rule, Gospel Armory publishes materials written by those who are associated with the churches of Christ.

How much does it cost to have my material published by Gospel Armory? – When Gospel Armory publishes a book, we pay all of the setup costs so that there are no upfront costs to the author. Therefore, the only expense to the author would be the cost of whatever books he/she would want to purchase (and these would be at a discounted price).
