Description
Ron Daly has committed his life to proclaiming the good news about deliverance from sin in Christ. He has also dedicated years of study to learning ancient languages to better equip himself to study and translate the Bible from the languages in which it was originally written in order to better teach it to others.
The material in this book is divided into two parts. It consists of articles first published on two blogs: Biblical Languages Research and Daly’s N. T. Translation Project. Brother Daly’s scholarship, independent thinking, and attention to detail are clearly seen in his writing. Yet he is able to present the material in a way that is useful for all Bible students. Throughout this material, he shows the importance of Christians learning the original languages in order to better understand, apply, and teach the Scriptures to others.

James Michael –
Mr. Daly’s book “Biblical Languages & Translation” is an extraordinarily valuable asset to those who have asked questions about translations! He answers many lexical and grammatical questions that I and others have asked. Though the book is written on a scholarly level he gives answers in an understandable way. He delves into word meaning, grammar, and explanations of what words mean in various contexts. Though there are not many books like this in the modern era, this book has fulfilled a needed and distinct purpose! I have also noticed how he does not answer the critical issues based on “tradition,” or “sectarian” values, but he does the needed research in an independent manner based on thorough investigation, and the conclusions are accurate and formidable! I have also noticed how he questions what many “authorities” or other well-known language and grammar scholars have dated in their lexicons and grammars. He is decisive and clear when he calls them into question! I highly recommend this book!
