Description
James Glen Young has been preaching the gospel for churches of Christ since 1972. However, his path to this work was not without its twists and turns. After growing up in Marshall County, Alabama, he began preaching at the age of nineteen and was licensed to preach in the Southern Missionary Baptist Church. He hit a fork in the road while working in a factory when he and a co-worker – a member of the Church of Christ – would discuss the Bible and his beliefs were challenged. This started him on a journey to discover the truth and led him to leave the Baptist church and be baptized into Christ for the remission of sins. Since that time he has worked to teach the gospel to others. This book, in telling the story of his conversion, has been written for the same purpose so that others might learn the truth and obey the gospel as well.
In addition to the autobiographical account, this book also contains a study of baptism and the church.
