Description
Joe Sale Warlick (1866-1941) was a tireless worker as he proclaimed the gospel and defended the truth. He preached throughout the United States and Canada, engaged in almost four hundred debates, and baptized thousands into Christ. He was truly a man of the divine book and a champion of the Restoration.
The first volume of The Works of Joe S. Warlick contains the Stark-Warlick Debate on the topic of instrumental music and the Warlick-Phillips Debate on the Sunday school question. This volume also includes a brief biographical sketch of the life of Joe S. Warlick.
The second volume of The Works of Joe S. Warlick contains the Bogard-Warlick Debate dealing with some issues with the Baptists as well as two other works: Baptist Blunders and Methodist Dynamite Exploded. The simple and powerful way that Warlick dealt with religious error is an encouragement and benefit to the current generation.

Patrick Jones (verified owner) –
I was delighted to see these books on Gospel Armory. Ben Bogard was perhaps the greatest Baptist debater. He said Joe Warlick was the best at quick witty answers of all the members of the church that he debated.
I’ve saved that volume for later. I am reading my way through the debates with J. Carroll Stark on the subject of instruments in worship. Some of the arguments are dated but very insightful. Sadly, the instrument is something that some congregations have embraced and in so doing have departed from the pattern. A defender of the faith will want to know the arguments on the other side.
Kent Bailey –
The late brother Joe S. Warlick was a talented and a tremendous defender of the New Testament church. I am truly thankful that this two volume set of specific accounts of Warlick’s work has been published. Many in the younger generation are not familiar with this faithful and able brother in Christ. May we see more brethren developed in his same mold and thought.
