Description
James P. Miller (1915-1978) was born and raised in Western Kentucky. Before long, he earned a reputation as a capable young preacher. Throughout his life, he labored in various places preaching the gospel, holding debates, and teaching on the radio. When Searching the Scriptures started in 1960, he worked as co-editor with H. E. Phillips.
Philadelphia Radio Sermons contains twenty-one sermons delivered by brother Miller on the WPEN radio station in Philadelphia while he labored with the 56th Street and Warrington Avenue church in that city. This type of sound gospel preaching that he delivered to the listening audience then is still needed today, making this collection of sermons a valuable resource for our current generation of preachers.
