The Western Preacher

Description

Originally published in 1888, The Western Preacher contains a collection of twenty-three sermons written by men associated with the Restoration Movement. The sermons cover a variety of topics, including the church, the Great Commission, Christian union, the power of the gospel, justification by faith, and more. Bible students in the twenty-first century will benefit from reading these timeless truths just as the original readers did in the nineteenth century.

This volume was edited by James M. Mathes, an Indiana preacher who is best known for his work as editor of The Christian Record, which was published from 1843 to 1859.
