Description
James L. Davis (1865-1947) has been called the second “Raccoon” of Kentucky, following in the footsteps of the pioneer preacher, “Raccoon” John Smith. This booklet contains a short autobiography of part of his life in which he described his conversion and efforts to preach the gospel. Though he was “a man without an education,” his faith, courage, energy, and ability to connect with the common man made him an effective laborer in the kingdom. This book will encourage every Christian by showing what can be accomplished by the faithful preaching of the gospel, even without formal educational training.
